Logging your calls ????

Hello my name is Carl KJ7RNL So have my FT-991A radio set up and have been listening mostly. Made my first contact. What is the best way to log your calls and be set up to contest. Any help would be appreciated !!!!

There are many options. ARRL has Log Book of the World, QRZ.com has one which is online, and then the multiple applications you can download to your desktop such as N1MM Logger, N3FJP Log, Ham Radio Deluxe, etc... The desktop applications are capable of connect direct to the FT991A to assist with logging is one main feature of why hams use those... So you have many options and one way to pick one is to try one or two of them or all if you have the time. Hope this helps a little bit... Thanks.
